  • Navigate to the Maintenance section and press OK.
  • Scroll down to the Fill Ink option and press OK again.
  • A message will appear with instructions to refill the ink tanks. Press OK to proceed.

2. Open the Printer and Ink Tank Cover

  • Locate the handles on the sides of the printer and pull gently to open the printer cover.
  • Raise the ink tank cover to access the individual ink compartments.

3. Refill the Ink Tanks

  • Start with the Black Ink:

    1. Open the cap for the black ink tank.
    2. Unscrew the cap from the black ink bottle.
    3. Align the bottle's nozzle with the tank’s opening. The bottle is designed to fit in only one way.
    4. Gently press the bottle on top without squeezing it. The ink will flow into the tank automatically.
    5. Listen for the sound of ink flowing and stop when it reaches the top mark. The bottle will stop dispensing ink when full.
  • Repeat for the Other Colors:

    1. Follow the same steps for cyan, magenta, and yellow ink tanks.
    2. Ensure each tank is filled to the indicated line.
  • If Partially Filling Tanks:

    • When you are only partially refilling the tanks, make a note of the current level after filling. This will be updated in the Ink Levels Menu later.

4. Close the Printer

  • Once all tanks are filled:
    • Replace the caps on the ink tanks securely.
    • Close the ink tank cover.
    • Lower the printer cover.

5. Update the Ink Levels in the Menu

  • Return to the printer’s Menu.
  • Press Proceed to confirm that the tanks have been filled.
  • For each color:
    1. Check the box to indicate the tank has been refilled.
    2. If the tanks are only partially filled, adjust the level indicator to reflect the updated amount.
  • Press OK to confirm the process for all colors.
  • Select Yes to reset the ink levels.

6. Return to the Home Screen

  • Press the Home button to exit the menu and return to the printer’s home screen.
